My name is Bogdan Alexandru Carlugea and I'm an experienced freelance front-end web developer based in Oxford, United Kingdom. My heart is in front end development, coding HTML5 / XHTML and CSS and implementing jQuery for animation and functionality.
I'm specialised in front-end development (e.g. user interface or UI) web code and WordPress. For those of you who don't understand digital jargon, this means I convert web designs (from Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator... but I prefer Photoshop layered files) into fully-functioning websites built upon the incredibly easy-to-use WordPress platform.
I'm focused on semantics, accessibility, usability and I have the ability to test and debug my code for cross browser/platform compatibility.
I am an efficient, well-grounded and accomplished individual who can work well alone, as part of a team and in leadership positions, across multiple projects simultaneously. I aim for the highest standard in all areas of my work, always looking to improve and assist others to deliver amazing results.
While at eRepublik.com, I created pages for the beta version of the eRepublik game.
My primary role was as a Front-end developer, taking approved designs from our creative director and building the XHTML & CSS code. At Tevin Solutions I've created XHTML & CSS code for websites in Tevin's portofolio.
Whilst working at PC World Romania, I created pages for the www.pcworld.ro website and other medium websites & business events websites for Computerworld Romania & Networkworld Romania. Work consisted of developing websites in tabular HTML layouts based on Adobe Photoshop designs from the creative team.
